La Casa de Yuki

Getting here

La Casa de Yuki is in La Bahia de Banus, Marbella. It is easier than it looks: one flight, one bus, one short taxi. Here is exactly how I tell friends to do it.

  1. Step 1

    ✈️ Fly to Malaga (AGP)

    Malaga is the airport you want: the closest, the best connected in southern Spain, and about 50 minutes from my door.

  2. Step 2

    🚌 Malaga airport to Marbella

    ·The Avanza bus, about 40 minutes, roughly 7 to 12 euros depending on the time and how far ahead you book. It runs direct to Marbella bus station and is what most of my guests take.
    ·BlaBlaCar, often the cheapest, and handy if you land at an awkward hour.
    ·Drive yourself, about 45 minutes down the AP-7. Your parking space in the closed garage is included.
    ·A taxi or private transfer, door to door in about 45 minutes. Book one yourself, or just ask me and I will happily help you arrange it.

  3. Step 3

    🚶 Marbella bus station to Casa de Yuki

    By bus and a short walk: buses towards Puerto Banus and San Pedro stop at Restaurante El Rodeito, right by the urbanization, directly without changing buses. From the stop:

    ·Cross the road and take the pedestrian bridge over the A-7 to the other side, towards the sea.
    ·After the bridge, go down and continue straight until you reach the BlueBay Banus Hotel.
    ·Walk past the BlueBay Banus Hotel and turn left. Almost immediately you will see a small road on your right. Walk along it, and you will see a turn on the left.
    ·Turn left and сontinue straight towards Calle Ventura del Mar until you reach Urbanizacion Bahia de Banus.

    Or by taxi: about 10 minutes to La Bahia de Banus. Taxis wait right outside the station; tell the driver "La Bahia de Banus, Nueva Andalucia".

  4. ⚠️ One thing to watch with drivers and sat navs

    Casa de Yuki is in Bahia de Banus, a residential complex at Calle Ventura del Mar 14. There is another complex nearby called Ventura del Mar, named like our street, and drivers and maps sometimes head there instead. If that happens, say you want the Bahia de Banus urbanization itself, on Calle Ventura del Mar.
